Domain
CyanSunrise.com was bought on march 15, 2005.
This is the very first domain I've ever owned and at first it was used mainly for my personal/graphic site.
I only had one fanlisting back then. But I've managed to collect a few more now so my personal site has gotten a domain of its own and this has turned into a collective :)
I made my very first website when I was around 15 years old, I had it on Geocities. Over the next 5 years I made several other websites,, but they're all so old/crappy that I've repressed them.
The first website that I thought was actually good enough to show anyone was Sagi-tazi. It started in october/november 2002 on Geocities, but in febuary 2004 Iva found me. She offered to host me on her domain and I stayed there for almost a year until I realized that I was all grown up and was ready for my own domain.
This domain is the one I'll probably never give up. It's my first own home on the internet and the name "cyan" has been my online nickname for years now. I just love it here :)
The name
Cyan comes from two reasons.
1 - it's the name of a character from my favourite comic. Nemi by Lise Myhre, it's a norwegian comic about a goth girl.
2 - it's my favourite of the process colors Cyan, Magenta, Yellow and blacK (CMYK). I used to work with process colors a lot when I had a job at an advertising agency. And I loved it! :)
Sunrise was added just because it sounds nice.

The layout
This layout features William Shockley, and not-so-famous actor that I happen to adore. His mostly known for playing Hank Lawson (the saloon owner) in the tv show Dr Quinn; medecine woman. I think he's one of the most gorgeous men ever!
Photos comes from his website, scribbles are brushes from Brusheezy.com and the font used is Rock Show Whiplash.

My name is Karin, I'm 24 years old and live in the northernmost part of Sweden. Here I share an aparment with a whippet named Zaphod, a cornsnake named Flamma and my boyfriend Markus.
I love making websites and is studying web and media design at the university right now. My biggest interests apart from internet and computers are animals, art, reading books and listening to music.
